My Review

I could have picked a better weekend to come down with a streaming cold. I had a coughing fit during the sermon this morning. At least I did better at the three o’clock Vampirates show.

I am really impressed how well two actors and one actress can do with just nine main props. I was a but worried, about the fact the end had changed, but it worked and it is understandable as they played several different parts each. So certain combinations of characters could not be on stage at the same time.

I really enjoyed the Vampirates stage show and so did my family. They even agreed to dress up with me although they wanted the back row of the theatre. There were about a dozen people sitting when we arrived all adults. I was surprised, but the families arrived shortly after us. South Hill Park’s studio theatre is only small and was filled with about three dozen people.

My kids were still singing the Vampirates Shanty while I was cooking supper although it had changed to the Last Saskatchewan Pirate by the time I had finished. I think my family will agree with me when I say it was a very good way of spending one and a quarter hours.
