Justin Somper 'is on a book tour of the United States, will greet fans at "Vampirates Breakfast," 10 a.m. Saturday, April 4, at Magic Tree Bookstore, 141 N. Oak Park Ave., Oak Park.

"We are going to have a traditional breakfast with the author," said Magic Tree co-owner Rose Joseph. "We'll have coffee or juice, and probably donuts. However, the treat will be having Justin Somper. He's from the U.K. and he'll be talking about his books, which are unique." She noted that the series is set "sometime in the future although many aspects of them seem very historical.""

Justin Somper was at the Oxford Literary Festival in the school events and the Home Schooled section on Tuesday 24th Venue. He visited the North Wall Arts Centre, South Parade, Oxford.

As part of his visit he'll be doing a big schools event organised by ourselves in the Liberty Hall Theatre in Thursday 12th. This event is now pretty much sold out, ... I warn you though, it's going to be a bit crazy - 360 screaming 10-11 year olds might not be your cup of tea?!"

On Monday 9th March in the evening Justin Somper will be in Reading School, Reading at a public event. "The event is in the school hall. Doors will open at 6.30 so that we can have a prompt start at 7. Justin will speak and then do a Q&A. There will be books for sale and he will be signing any you buy or bring along. The event is aimed at families - the books appeal from confident readers in Yr5/6 through to KS3 (and beyond if they started with Book 1 and have kept reading!)"
