"Actually," said Connor, "that's not such a bad idea!" He glanced over at the jukebox in the corner of the bar. The old Wurlitzer had been pounding out thrash-shanty ever since they arrived. After a time, the music felt like a severe assault on the eardrums.

Dead Memories by Slipknot (would be a good theme song for the movie. The way Lorcan describes their memoris of their lives as 'We can remember everything that happened, but not how it felt' fits perfectly into the song.)
Follow Me Into The Darkness by Fightstar (I think this would be a good song for a sort of general vampiratesy video. I think the first couple of minutes with the singing would be good for a mushy Lorcan/Grace segment, but once the oh-so-beautiful instrumental kicks in for the rest of the song, it could chop and change between Lorcan and Grace and the other characters fighting or something, or Sidorio and Jez establishing the renegade crew. Perhaps even figures killing off victims and leaving Black Heart playing cards all over the place, and the figures can be revealed as Lola and her crew grinning evilly with blood dripping from their fangs in the final seconds.)

Amy lee is the "man" for the job! her melodies and songs are very touching, gentle and sometimes hard and exciting just what a movie with such romance and mystery needs... BUT Amy Lee should make special music only for this movie only for vampires!
I think Amy Lee from Evanescence would be an amazing person to sing the sea shanty, if it were possible. She has a really soft voice that would go perfectly with the theme.
Tarja Turunen the ex-singer of Nightwish and has a rock opera voice which sounds stunning.
