"Actually," said Connor, "that's not such a bad idea!" He glanced over at the jukebox in the corner of the bar. The old Wurlitzer had been pounding out thrash-shanty ever since they arrived. After a time, the music felt like a severe assault on the eardrums.

Amy lee is the "man" for the job! her melodies and songs are very touching, gentle and sometimes hard and exciting just what a movie with such romance and mystery needs... BUT Amy Lee should make special music only for this movie only for vampires!
I think Amy Lee from Evanescence would be an amazing person to sing the sea shanty, if it were possible. She has a really soft voice that would go perfectly with the theme.
Tarja Turunen the ex-singer of Nightwish and has a rock opera voice which sounds stunning.
